Neymar and Endrick have been left out of Brazil's squad for the World Cup qualifiers against Venezuela and Uruguay due to limited game time.

Neymar Left Out Due to Limited Game Time

Brazil's coach Dorival Junior has decided not to include Neymar in the squad for the World Cup qualifiers against Venezuela and Uruguay. Neymar recently returned to action for Al Hilal after being out for a year due to a knee injury. Coach Dorival explained, "He is nearly fully recovered but has had very little game time." Neymar last played for Brazil on October 17, 2023, the match where he got injured.

Endrick Misses Out Due to Lack of Minutes

Real Madrid's 18-year-old forward, Endrick, is also not part of the team. He has played just 107 minutes for Madrid this season and has missed their last four games. The coaching staff felt it was not the right time to include him in the squad.

Vinícius Júnior Returns to the Team

Vinícius Júnior, who missed the October qualifiers due to a neck injury, is back in the squad. The Real Madrid star had a tough week after losing out on the Ballon d’Or, finishing behind Manchester City's Rodri. Coach Dorival called it an "unfair situation" and praised Vinícius for earning the respect of the Brazilian fans.

Rising Star Estêvão Makes the Squad

Palmeiras forward Estêvão Willian has earned a spot in the 23-man squad. The 17-year-old has been in excellent form, scoring 11 goals in Brazil's Serie A. Manchester City's Savinho, despite suffering an ankle injury in the Carabao Cup, has also been included.

Brazil's Position in the Qualifiers

Brazil is currently fourth in the South American World Cup qualifying table, trailing leaders Argentina by four points after 10 games. The team will face Venezuela on November 14 and Uruguay on November 19. The top six teams will qualify directly for the 2026 World Cup, while the seventh-placed team will enter a playoff.
